Poon McKenzie Architects Goes West With New Vancouver Office
July 18, 2003 --- VANCOUVER, CALGARY. Poon McKenzie Architects of Calgary has announced the opening of a new satellite office in Vancouver, B.C. to manage design services for its west coast-based architectural projects.
"We've had a presence in Vancouver for years but have never gone as far as creating a formal office managed by an on-site Principal," explains PMA Principal and Founder, Ronald Poon. "With our consistent growth into B.C. markets and the opportunity to bring on a highly qualified team member, the conditions were right to proceed with opening a new office."
The Vancouver office will be managed by local architect Glenn Burwell, M.ARCH, MAIBC.
"I'm thrilled at the opportunity to manage PMA's new Vancouver operations," says Burwell. "I plan to build on the firm's current presence and expand the level of face-to-face services we provide for west-coast Clients."
The new offices are located in downtown Vancouver, at 1201 West Pender Street. Poon McKenzie Architects' Head Office will remain in Calgary, Alberta.
